Hi, I'm Patty a passionate Wellness coach and certified personal trainer living in Denver, Colorado with my husband, 5 year old and our incredible pets. I offer health coaching and personal training services both virtually and locally.
I have always been passionate about wellness even at a young age. Part of this is because I had low self esteem when I was younger because of my struggles with learning disabilities. I started looking at myself negativly and didn't feel good. I decided to play soccer in high school. I was not the best on the team but the physical exertion did something to me that made me not dwell on how I did in school and enjoyed running around and I felt good on the field. Through my childhood I saw so many unhealthy people around me and many thought their life was done at a young age (30-50 years old.) I knew there was more. I knew if I ate well and kept moving I would be able to go after life goals feeling excited and energetic. I decided that this was my life path! I wanted to help others believe in theirselves and don't let negative self talk determine their life. I want to guide them through this and encourage that they can follow their dreams if they choose healthy behaviors.
I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.
My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. Instead, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding.
Together we’ll work to reach your health goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, and maximizing energy. As we work together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.
